Mission
What we do every day
To improve lives in Kimokouwa through education, clean water, women’s empowerment, community development, cultural preservation, and responsible tourism—always in partnership with local leadership.
Narasaa Community Center grows from relationships in Kimokouwa—guided by local wisdom, shared responsibility, and hope that lasts.
Our Story
Narasaa began with a simple conviction: lasting change must be led with the community, not for it.
In Kimokouwa Village, Longido District, families face real barriers—distance to learning opportunities, water insecurity, limited adult education, and pressure on cultural traditions in a changing world.
Narasaa Community Center brings people together around practical solutions: early childhood and school support, women’s and men’s learning, water security planning, cultural preservation, and tourism that treats visitors as guests and neighbors—not customers only.
Our Partnership with Simba Adventures
Experience Tanzania while helping communities thrive.
Narasaa Community Center partners with Simba Adventures, a Tanzania safari company, to connect travel with community support.
When you book a safari through Narasaa, a portion of the proceeds from your trip supports our community initiatives, including education, clean water, and other community development projects.
Your journey becomes part of something lasting: a memorable safari that also helps support the communities we serve.
History
Early conversations with parents, elders, teachers, and youth shaped priorities around education and water.
Baby class and middle class programs grew as trusted spaces for young learners—supported by dedicated teachers.
Women’s and men’s education circles strengthened literacy, confidence, and household opportunity.
The borehole project, cultural tourism, and Simba Adventures partnership expand impact while keeping dignity at the center.
Mission

Vision
A thriving Kimokouwa where every child can learn, every family can access safer water, women lead with confidence, and Maasai culture is celebrated with pride by residents and respectful visitors alike.
Core Values
We earn confidence through transparency, consistency, and honest communication.
Every person is a partner, not a project. Culture and voice are protected.
Resources are used carefully for lasting community benefit.
We invest in futures—education, health, and opportunity across generations.
We tell real stories and welcome visitors into genuine exchange.
Local leadership guides priorities, decisions, and progress.
Leadership
Director Renée Danielle helps connect international supporters with community-led priorities—building bridges of trust, learning, and long-term partnership.
Authentic community portrait from Kimokouwa.
Elders, teachers, women’s group leaders, and youth voices shape how Narasaa plans, learns, and grows. Community leadership is not symbolic—it is structural.
Future Goals
Community Impact
Impact looks like children in class, women leading, safer water plans moving forward, and visitors who leave as friends of Kimokouwa.
